Description

CHRONOPSIS is an interactive XR experience that explores memory across life stages, inviting visitors to transform personal, nostalgic or imagined memories into digital objects that gradually become part of a shared virtual environment.

Moving through four distinct spaces, each representing a different stage of life, visitors are prompted to imagine an object that holds meaning for that particular moment — something remembered, deeply personal, nostalgic or entirely imagined. The thoughts are translated into visual concepts and eventually materialise as 3D objects, appearing within the digital environment in the place each visitor chooses.

As more people move through CHRONOPSIS, the space begins to accumulate their contributions. Objects created by previous visitors emerge alongside new ones, forming an evolving landscape of individual and collective memory. Yet, much like memories themselves, these digital traces are not permanent. They appear, disappear and resurface, becoming ghostly remnants of the people and experiences that have passed through the space.
